2010 Oregon Bow Hunters Annual Convention

February 26-28, 2010

Chinook Winds Casino
CASINO RESORT

at the Convention Center

Majestically overlooking the Pacific Ocean from the Lincoln City shore, the 157,000 square foot Chinook Winds Casino Resort is Oregon's premier Casino. The casino is a Las Vegas-style facility with more than 1,200 slot machines, along with keno, bingo, craps, roulette, blackjack and poker.

There are three dining venues. The Rogue River Steakhouse features casual fine dining with a  stunning ocean view.  There is after-hours entertainment in the Rogue Lounge.  The Siletz Bay Buffet serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and a seafood buffet on Fridays. At the deli, tucked behind the waterfall, you'll find burgers, clam strips and more served 24/7.

To serve families, the facility includes a Play Palace with secure, supervised childcare available for up to four hours. Pagers are given to parents visiting the casino. A casino visit is not necessary to use the childcare facilities, however. The childcare facility also offers a "party room"  to host themed birthday parties for up to 14 children.

Visitors can also take advantage of free shuttle service to area lodging properties, free parking and free sodas and coffee.

Each seminar is designed to give bowhunters, rifle hunters, and photographers tips for hunting and calling wildlife, techniques for finding and stalking animals, correct use of scent, and other keys for successful hunting. Banquet presentations are designed for general audiences and usually contain humor and slides of wildlife and scenic landscapes.
